Barcelona are reportedly ready to submit a third offer for Manchester City midfielder Rodri as negotiations between the two clubs remain ongoing.
The Spanish champions have already had bids of €50 million and €60 million rejected, but they are said to be continuing discussions in an effort to reach an agreement for the Spain international.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano wrote on X on Friday that Barcelona are preparing a new proposal for Rodri after the previous two packages were turned down.
According to the report, direct club-to-club talks will continue, with the next offer expected to be somewhere between Barcelona’s latest €60 million bid and Manchester City’s reported €80 million valuation of the midfielder.
Barcelona are said to remain confident about completing the transfer and are willing to press ahead with negotiations rather than abandon the pursuit.
The coming days are expected to be important as both clubs continue discussions in search of a compromise over Rodri’s transfer fee.
