Mobile Screens and Sounds (MSS), a leading Nigerian technical production company, has unveiled a programme to train 100 young Nigerians in screen and live event production as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The programme, known as the MSS Event Tech Academy, is a 10-week hybrid training, mentorship and business development programme designed to equip participants with practical and industry-relevant technical skills.
According to the company, the tuition-free initiative forms part of activities marking its 20th anniversary and reflects its long-term commitment to developing talent and supporting the growth of Nigeria’s creative and live production industry.
MSS said the academy was established to address the growing demand for skilled technical professionals by providing participants with structured training, mentorship from industry experts and hands-on practical experience.
Speaking on the initiative, the Chief Executive Officer of Mobile Screens and Sounds, Tunbosun Kola-Daisi, said the company is investing in the next generation of professionals who will drive the future of Nigeria’s production industry.
He noted that beyond training technicians, the academy aims to build a sustainable pipeline of world-class production experts capable of competing on the global stage.
Kola-Daisi added that the programme reflects the company’s commitment to giving back to the industry while creating opportunities for young Nigerians to develop valuable technical skills and build successful careers in event and screen production.
