Tinubu Moves to Paris as Three-Week European Vacation Continues

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Paris, France, as he continues his three-week annual leave in Europe.

The President arrived in the French capital on Sunday and was received by Nigeria’s Ambassador to France, Ayodele Oke, according to a video posted on Tinubu’s official X account.

Tinubu left Abuja on Sunday, August 30, 2026, for London, United Kingdom, where he began his vacation before travelling onward to Paris.

The President’s holiday was announced by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, in a three-paragraph statement released on August 30.

The statement, titled “President Tinubu Begins Three-Week Leave,” said Tinubu would return to Abuja after the vacation and resume activities related to the campaign for the January 2027 general election.

The President began his holiday about a week after the All Progressives Congress, APC, unveiled its Presidential Campaign Council.

Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima were named Chairman and Vice Chairman of the council respectively.
