Israel AI Bootcamp in Abuja Equips Nigerian Entrepreneurs for Tech-Driven Business Growth

Israeli government-backed training has strengthened the digital capabilities of Nigerian entrepreneurs following a week-long Artificial Intelligence (AI) bootcamp held in Abuja, aimed at improving business efficiency, innovation, and competitiveness.

The programme brought together startup founders and business owners for hands-on sessions focused on practical applications of AI in areas such as product development, operations, and business scaling. Facilitators led interactive workshops designed to help participants translate emerging technologies into real-world commercial value.

Israeli Ambassador to Nigeria, Michael Freeman, commended the participants and reaffirmed Israel’s commitment to expanding technological cooperation with Nigeria, particularly in innovation, entrepreneurship, and digital transformation.

Several participants, including Patrick Ndufom and Rabiah Busari, showcased projects developed during the training, while others such as Lydia Thompson and Adewunmi Adeagbo shared insights on how the programme reshaped their approach to business strategy and automation.

Organisers said the bootcamp forms part of broader bilateral efforts between Nigeria and Israel to deepen collaboration in technology and entrepreneurship development, with a focus on capacity building for small and medium-sized enterprises.

For participating entrepreneurs, the key challenge now is the commercialisation of skills gained—turning AI knowledge into measurable business growth, improved productivity, and scalable solutions in Nigeria’s evolving digital economy.
